Sage Toothette Disposable Mint Oral Swabs

For a senior who needs help cleaning around gums after eating. These are great. These foam swabs are very hard to find. None of the local stores have them. So I am very happy to find them on this site.

I have used Toothettes on patients in the hospital, and in hospice care. I got them for my father when he was dying. Of all the things I did for him, these were the thing he appreciated the most. Dunk one in cool water and run it over teeth and gums. Cleans scum and freshens. It is hard to have enough energy to get up and brush your teeth, and they get dry and coated. With Toothettes the patient or a caregiver can safely refresh the mouth and moisten the tissues without harsh tasting chemicals. You can dunk them in a hydrogen peroxide solution for a bacteriocidal (but not as pleasant) wash, but becasue they are soft and simple and disposable, the patient can reach for one anytime. And when that is no longer possible, someone can easily do it. Hard to imagine a better investment for patient care and ease of use.
