Love it
J. McCandless (CO) 1/24/2011 3:08 PM
I love this tape. I used it for slight knee pain while running. I ran a half marathon and didn't have any pain. I would recommend seeing a PT before buying though.

EXCELLENT what professional PT's use
Sydney (Alabama) 1/24/2011 3:08 PM
it has the tension needed, it has a wave under stitch which is very important, and it stays on much better than other brands. A trick to make it stay on even longer is make sure you do not put any lotion on the area, and right before clean the area with alcohol pads. Can last over a week this way for most people.

Kineseo tape - works very well for me
L. Wells (Nevada) 1/24/2011 3:07 PM
The kineseo tape seems to do just what it claims. I am a 63-year old jogger (usually 4-6 miles at a time three times a week, occasionally longer) with very imperfect biomechanics and have had persistently tender knees for a long time. I began using the kineseo tape in place of Cho-Pat straps on my knees to provide some tension on the ligament just below the patella. It seems to achieve the same effect as the Cho-Pat without the constricting band across the back of the knee. Since using the kineseo taping, my knees have been quite tolerable and generally free of any appreciable soreness. I even completed a marathon two weeks age. It was run pretty slowly but without any noticeable soreness either during or after the marathon. I was back to my normal jogging three days after the marathon without any unusual aches. How much of that is a result of the taping, I cannot be certain, but I feel it definitely makes a big difference in my case.

Stuck on KT Tape
gym rat (Arvada, CO) 1/24/2011 3:05 PM
This tape is used by a lot of health professionals, such as chiropractors, physical therapists, etc. for good reasons, such as: -its water resistant -the stuff is really sticky and stays on -it can be used on many different parts/joints of the body -its stretchy If you're looking for some good, all purpose versatile tape to brace an area, such as a knee, or a wrist or elbow, give it a try!
